Haikey Creek Masonry Waterproofing is a masonry waterproofing contractor serving Broken Arrow, OK and the Tulsa suburbs. We are named for the creek that drains the south side of town, because that is roughly where the work is.
Three things we do differently
Prices are published. The cost page has twelve job types with real ranges and the reasons a job lands high or low. We quote off that table and nothing else, so the number you get is the number a neighbor got for the same wall.
Every wall gets a hose test first. Water on the wall from the bottom up, a moisture meter on the inside, and a written finding before anyone talks about product. The difference between a sealing job, a weep hole retrofit and a drainage job is thousands of dollars, and you cannot tell them apart from the driveway.
Breathable repellents only. Silane and siloxane that soak into the brick and let vapor out, with a 10 year manufacturer warranty. No film forming sealers and no paint sold as waterproofing, because in a Tulsa winter those pop the face off the brick.
The houses we know
Broken Arrow and the suburbs around it were bricked in two big waves, the 1970s to 1990s ranches and colonials on the west and north sides, and the 1995 to 2015 two story veneer subdivisions on the south and east. Both sit on the same swelling clay, both mostly went up without flashing or weep holes, and both are now at the age where the joints open. Add the pre-1950 solid brick in Midtown Tulsa and the flood affected streets in Sand Springs, Bixby and Jenks, and that is the work.
We run a weekly route through South Tulsa, Bixby, Jenks, Midtown Tulsa, Owasso, Coweta, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Claremore and Glenpool, each of which has its own page with what we find there.
Insurance and paperwork
Oklahoma licenses plumbers, electricians and HVAC contractors at the state level and does not license masons, so there is no license number to look up. We carry general liability insurance and attach the certificate to every estimate. Permits are pulled when the work needs one, which for this trade means chimney rebuilds above the roofline and retaining walls over four feet.
